Donate Goods

Packard Health maintains food pantries at our two locations to address the basic nutritional needs of patients in need. About 70 patients and families rely on our pantries each month. While our pantries are primarily stocked by Food Gatherers and several loyal organizations and individuals, we sometimes encounter shortages.

We also accept monetary donations earmarked for the food pantry as well.

Goods can be dropped off at either location during office hours.

We also accept personal care items and we appreciate your generosity.

  • Toothbrushes
  • Tooth paste
  • Bar soaps
  • Shampoos

Volunteers

Currently we need volunteers for Mondays- 8:30-11:30am, Thursdays 8:30-11:30am, Fridays 9am-12pm, and Saturdays 10am-12pm.

We need consistent, reliable people, especially for Fridays. Volunteers should commit to at least two hours and preferably the entire shift if at all possible. They will need to go through a background check and get a TB test here at the clinic free of charge. We do not accept anyone with criminal background history or on court mandated community service.

Monday, Thursday and Saturday responsibilities include:

  • Stocking Food Pantry
  • Assisting Shoppers
  • Helping them select foods and carrying bags downstairs

Friday responsibilities include:

  • Heavy lifting 25-50 lbs
  • Sorting food and stocking the food pantry and refrigerator
  • Breaking down boxes
  • Stocking food pantry and food storage closet
