Education and Training:
I graduated from Michigan State University first with a bachelor’s in nursing which prepared me to work as a registered nurse (RN) where I worked as a hospital and home care nurse. Then I returned to MSU where I earned a master’s and it prepared me to work as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Lastly, I returned a third time to MSU where I earned my doctorate (DNP), which has helped me to make a difference in patient care and issues with nurses at a higher level.
