Personal Statement:
I enjoy working with patients of different ethnicities. I like to use all the resources that Packard Health has available for our patients, and the community. I have a background in cardiothoracic, vascular, and endoscopy nursing.
I have worked as Nurse Practitioner in the community, visiting patients in Detroit, and its suburbs. I also have experience working with the unaccompanied minors federal program. Both of those jobs have given me an incomparable perspective as NP, that I believe is not attainable elsewhere.
Being Latinx, and having a background as a Spanish medical interpreter, I became very aware of the vulnerability of the limited English proficiency patients that come to this country, therefore, I’ll always be their advocate.
