Personal Statement:
I have a strong desire to help patients achieve their best selves in relation to their health. Throughout my career as a health professional I have worked in Hematology/ Bone Marrow Transplant, Hospice, Shelter Health, and now Community Health /Integrated Health for Packard Health at Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw. No matter where a person is on the health spectrum, I believe there are opportunities to work towards improved quality of life and health outcomes. With my patients, I try to maintain a collaborative partnership. My goal is to make decisions with my patients—not for my patients. I try to encourage individuals to grab ahold of the steering wheel and be the driver on their own health journey.
