Exceptional caregivers
November 25, 2017
Meet Gina Dahlem, NP. - compassionate provider, talented researcher, committed teacher. As part of Packard's Outreach Team, she provides primary care services to people experiencing homelessness at the Shelter Association of Washtenaw County. You can find her at Miller Manor too.
As a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UM, her research focuses on opiod overdose prevention and education using naloxone, adolescent risk assessments tools, and on how patient-provider relationships affect patient outcomes.
Gina has helped to lead opiod overdose prevention trainings for police departments throughout southeastern Michigan and community organizations. She teaches graduate classes at UM School of Nursing, and has an article this month in Public Health Nursing.
Does she ever sleep? We're not sure. But she's always smiling!
