Personal Statement:

I am a Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Michigan. My clinical focus has been delivering primary care services for vulnerable populations particularly for people experiencing homelessness at Shelter Association of Washtenaw County.  Previously, I provided primary care services to inmates at the Department of Corrections. My research focuses on opioid overdose prevention and education using naloxone, adolescent risk assessments tools, and on how patient-provider relationships affect patient outcomes. I have helped to lead opioid overdose prevention trainings for police departments throughout southeast Michigan and community organizations.
