Berry-banana blast-off

Good for us - eating well. Here’s a smoothie packed with fruits and vegetables, from Karen Koeppe, Packard Health’s Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Educator

Whip it up for breakfast and prepare to start your engines! It’s also a great post-exercise snack.

Berry-Banana Blast-Off

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup 1% milk
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (e.g. Dannon
  • Oikos brand)
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries or raspberries
  • 1/2 medium banana
  • 5 baby carrots and/or handful of baby
  • spinach leaves
  • 1-2 tsp honey
  • Dash cinnamon (optional)

Directions:

Combine all in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
