Packard Health Earns Quality Improvement Awards

Packard Health was recently awarded a total of $81,541 in Quality Improvement Awards (QIA) from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Health Center Program.
As a Federally Qualified Health Center, Packard Health submits data reflecting its services to the HRSA annually. Awards are given in recognition of high performance or significant quality improvement gains and are to be used to further strengthen quality improvement activities.
The categories that Packard Health received awards in and their corresponding award amounts include:
- Clinical Quality Improvers (demonstrating improvement in quality measures) - $24,416
- Access Enhancers (providing more services to more patients) - $5,750
- Health Disparities Reducers (made at least a 10% improvement across different racial/ethnic groups) - $43,125
- Advancing Health Information Technology for Quality (collecting social determinants of health data and using it to drive care) - $8,250
