Palliative Care at Packard

Patient-centered care is the heart and soul of Packard Health and so we are thrilled to be able to provide palliative care to our patients with life-limiting diseases. It’s a standout example of how a small and nimble community health center (that’s us) can respond quickly to provide new services that patients need.
Meet April Bigelow, PhD, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and Palliative Care Specialist. For our patients living with serious illness, April provides specialized care to relieve symptoms and stress. She is a skilled listener and advocate for patients and their families, and their expert communicator with all members of the care team.
